2023 Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5K

Participating in the 5K was an unforgettable experience for our team!

Founded in 1980 by a mother whose daughter was killed by a drunk driver, Mothers Against Drunk Driving® (MADD) is the nation’s largest nonprofit working to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes and prevent underage drinking.

2023 Handy & Homes / NextGen Field Day

During the summer, we were fortunate to lend our support to Handy & Homes/ Handy NextGen, contributing to positive change in the community. Engaging in and sponsoring a fantastic Field Day event was an absolute joy! Witnessing the unwavering commitment and diligent efforts was truly inspiring. We feel privileged to be a part of such a meaningful endeavor.

2021 Thomas & Pearl / Childnet Holiday Toy Drive

Supporting the children and families served by ChildNet this Holiday Season. ChildNet serves as the Community Based Care lead agency in both Broward and Palm Beach Counties. www.childnet.us

2020 King Holiday Celebration

For the last 3 years, Thomas and Pearl have been honored to support the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the annual march for non-violence.

The parade and multicultural festival both take place at Esplanade Park. The King Holiday Celebration is presented by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Committee and the City of Fort Lauderdale Parks and Recreation Department.

We were able to give out over $500 in gift cards as well as backpacks, umbrellas, and key-chains. We had a great time and look forward to this event every year!

2015 Summer Splash Back To School Celebration

Summer Splash Back-to-School Celebration was a huge success at Central Broward Regional Park.

The event drew close to 1000 people eager to participate in the fun events with a rock climbing wall, bounce house, face painting, live entertainment and a delicious jerk/family barbeque. Dr. Fidel Goldson and his staff performed free school physicals and 400 backpacks were given out to the children loaded with school supplies.

The staff from Thomas & Pearl was happy to participate in and attend the event and witness the smiling faces of all the children who were there. “It’s a wonderful feeling to give back to our community and provide the children with school supplies,” quoted Attorney Jason Pearl.

Additionally, the firm had also donated 250 backpacks and other items for school to help support the children and their parents with the necessary back-to-school supplies.
